stuck like

Am I trapped in this memory
of how you remembered me?
Yes, I dismembered me, left
a mess, worthless identity.

Memory of a memory,
will I end as you forget me?
Will I be buried as you left me,
as intact as you kept me
or in pieces as I let me
break under responsibility.

So heavy, world-heavy,
on a fool's wings, fragile things.
Flying then falling brings
me back to a forever scar
back to broken, dusk star
to be left with the memory
of everything you meant to me.

Longing for the Passed

That melody - oh, childhood memory
- makes a blanket of the past.
Waking comfort till I'm fast asleep
and always will bring pleasant dreams
of bright days and waving trees.
Nostalgia put my mind at ease.

Losing Momentum

The Sun is on its knees
and rivers slow, begin to freeze.
Worst of weather, wicked winter
winds blow whispers in the trees,
sending splinters of unease
through weary, worn-out feet.
